When I was younger I always was given the chore to vacuum the house. I hated doing it, it just seemed like such a waste of time. Why do i need to vacuum when I can see anything on the floor, forget that the bin was full by the time I was finished, it didn't matter.

Fast forward to my older years now and I have 3 vacuums in my house and I actually enjoy running each of them. From my standard Dyson stand up to my Neato Botvac, they each serve a purpose. My floors look awesome these days and I get to avoid the 1 am question of what did I just step on…

The stand up vacuum is amazing for your really deep clean but its a pain to get out and lug around the house on a regular basis. So the Botvac fills the need to vacuum on a more regular schedule. It keeps the majority of the house pretty darn clean. The problem with both of these is that they fail in the corners.

I started to look into a Dyson stick vac and the prices made me throw up a little in my mouth. It was just ridiculous. So my usual go to at that point is check Amazon for what chinese knock off is available. Amazon did not disappoint. There are so many out there. I picked one that looked good and had a good number of reviews to try out.

I got the vacuum itself a couple days ago and I was surprised by how sturdy and well built the thing was. It didn't feel like it was made in some random factory for $0.20. As far as for how well it actually sucks stuff up, it does a pretty good job. Don't think of this as a primary vacuum to get up dog hair or any huge messes. This is a spot clean device. The brush head attachment is pretty weak so I will keep using my stand up for the deep cleans but the crevice tool and brush with the 3 ft extension work amazing. I was shocked by how much stuff it was finding up next to my baseboards.

I really like this new little vacuum, it looks cool and it serves a good function. I think it has earned a right to stay in my vacuum line up.
